Proteome Analysis: RAMR™ Protein Profiling

Rapid Analysis Meso-Resolution

Proteome Analysis
SDS PAGE
2-DE
RAMR™
Differential
Hi-Res
As part of a proteomic analysis, GBS can perform Rapid Analysis Meso-Resolution (RAMR) TM protein profiling. This novel approach developed by GBS provides medium levels of protein resolution in timelines of less than half those required for 2DE. The procedure is appropriate for water-soluble protein mixtures, which are rapidly processed through two optimized chromatographic steps. The three fractions that result are then further separated via SDS PAGE. The procedure typically resolves 120-150 proteins and is 4 to 5 times as sensitive as standard SDS PAGE at detecting changes in protein abundance. Also, upon request, GBS can analyze client samples using customized chromatographic pre-fractionations followed by focused, higher-resolution SDS PAGE analysis. Before contacting GBS, please visit the sample preparation page for tips on maximizing the results of analysis.
